Why do you call it 'Doubting Thomas Farms?'

 

We're glad you asked! When we first started talking about transitioning our farm from conventional farming to certified-organic in the '90s, that was still a pretty new concept around these parts. We faced plenty of skepticism from some who didn't believe we could make it work. So we named our farm and the products we produce after the "Doubting Thomases" out there who didn't think we could do it. Twenty-four years later, we are still going strong – and proving to the skeptics that there is a way to make a great living while sustainably and responsibly raising high-quality organic food! We can love and respect our Earth AND provide our communities with wholesome foods that keep us strong.
