Rye Berries are the super-healthful whole-grain form of rye, with just the inedible hull removed. Grown and harvested on our certified-organic family farm, rye berries offer a firm, chewy texture and rich, walnut-like flavor. A nutrient superstar, rye is packed with dietary fiber, amino acids, selenium, magnesium, phosphorus and B vitamins. While rye berries are perfect for milling and make incredible rye bread, they have many other potential uses too. Once cooked, they can be used in salads, soups, stews, pilafs, hot cereals or as a tasty rice alternative!
